2024 NAEA National Leadership Conference

The purpose of the National Leadership Conference is to support and enhance the effectiveness of experienced, new, and aspiring visual arts, design, and media arts education leaders. The 2024 program is being designed in direct response to the timely interests and needs expressed by NAEA leaders at all levels.

Details

Advance registration is required and is limited to a maximum of 150 participants.

The NLC will take place at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Detroit Downtown – Fort Shelby. Arrival begins on Wednesday, July 24, with onsite check-in available from 3-6pm and an opening reception at 6pm. Check-in is available beginning at 7:30am on Thursday, July 25, with programming beginning at 8:00am. The conference concludes at 12pm on Saturday, July 27.

The nearest airport is Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County, 20 miles from the hotel.

Single/King Bed 2 Room Suite: $239 nightly, plus applicable taxes.

The discounted rates are available for stay dates July 21, 2024 through July 26, 2024. Reservations must be made on or before July 3, 2024 in order to receive the discounted rate.

Cancellation Policy

NLC Cancellation Policy: $50 if registration is canceled on or before May 15, 2024. After May 15 no refunds will be issued.
